My work today takes me to the NC EXECUTIVE BUILDING. This is where Governor Mike Easley lives and where I will be attending a reception honoring Justice Patricia Timmons-Goodson.

It's my first time at the Gov's house, but I'll make sure to measure the drapes for my son. Barring any serious digging into the family past I expect little man will be elected as the State's Chief Executive in 2048. He will make an attempt at the presidency in 2056, but his little sister (Senator Ellemno Circosta D-NC) will end up beating him in a nasty primary fight that the press loves because of the 'sibling rivalry' angle.

All is well that ends well, though. Ellemno chooses her older brother as VP and they make history as the first siblings to lead a presidential ticket.

Let's just hope they don't lose to the evil robot party in the general election

So which one of the little circostas will be living in another state, or will you, as Senator in 2018, start the groundswell to repeal the 12th Amendment?

I know, you'd figure someone who does election law for a living would have remembered good ole number 12.
