AND ANOTHER ONE BITES THE MAGICAL SANTA DUST

First, it was the classic rock station. And this morning I heard that KISS FM is going all "Kiss-mas". This means that from now until new years two of my six buttons are nothing but holiday tunes. All I can say is thank goodness NPR's fall fundraising drive ended a few weeks ago.

The Christmas season is sort of a mixed bag. On the positive side there is egg nog. On the negative side, there is the unrelenting yaw of Bing Crosby.

Seriously. I usually stop listening to 102.9 in December. Only, they started early this year.

If the classic rock station you're referring to is 100.7, they were dead to me when they switched over to their classic rock format a couple of years ago.

Radio here in NC has made my Sirius radio the best thing ever. There really is no good FM here in Raleigh.

alas, radio stations would not make the list of "reasons to live in Raleigh" .... they are poor, at best. Please post if you find a good one!
