Halloween came to the Circosta household a bit early this year. We went to Chick-Fil-A, and lo and behold it was "kids night". So that means the Chick-Fil-A Cow was there. Sam, being a rational young human being (and thus apprehensive about six-foot, bipedal, plush-covered, walking cows with backwards caps) did not like this one bit.

When the cow came up for a high five, sam froze. AND I MEAN FROZE. The shock only lasted about a half a second though. then, it was scream city and a leap into mama's arms.

All's well that ends well though. After a hug, some nuggets and a promised trip to the park Sam graciously waved "bye bye cow".

It's always tough when you vary from the 5 Guys!
Jack actually climbed across the table once at a CFA, sobbing and wailing, to get into my lap and away from the cow. Complete and total terror. He still hates it (the cow, not the CFA).
what a cutie pie!!!! i would be scared too if i was a one year old!!!

Sam knows aliens when he sees them.....what cow walks on two legs and talks? I don't like those things either!
What immediately came to mind was Damon,2, at Disneyland, when the Big Bad Wolf came up and said Boo! I'm still waiting for a hug that tight again!Grandma Janet misses Sam with all my heart!
